Such an amazing award to even be a Finalist in, but to win - thrilled.
There’s no better time to sit down and start a blog, than after you’ve won a highly regarded photography award - so here I am in full, proud of Giles and his photography achievements, mode.
The Pink Lady Food Photography Awards has grown in popularity and stature, since it started in 2011. The Independent calls them ‘The most prestigious awards in the industry’, high praise indeed, as they continue to celebrate the very best in food photography from around the Word.
Giles entered the very first year of the Awards, and was thrilled to be a Finalist then. This year he thought he would enter again, and was totally blown away that this time he was a Winner.
Giles’ winning image was shot for the new Harry Ramsden’s menu. A delicious bowl of fresh mussels, prepared by their Executive Chef, Wayne Timbrell, and styled by the very lovely Beth Davies.
The best part of our food photography projects is getting to work with teams of such talented, creative people….and the delicious food obviously.
