Having over twenty years experience in the Movie, TV and Stills Photography industries,
we know the importance of proper training, experience, attitude and talent. But it's just as important that you enjoy what you do and are passionate about it.

Giles always combines experience and a passion for photography, which means he is constantly in demand for photographic training courses by friends, clients and other photographers!

Training sessions are tailor made to complement the requirements and experience of the participant. From beginner, keen amateur to pro Photographer, wanting to brush up on technical skills.

 

Example of course for beginner to keen amateur:-

 

Photography Courses (4-5 Hours) include:
Going through examples of some of your images and discuss improvements, problems

Going through the menu functions and buttons on your camera, improving your settings
Explaining common terminology

Shoot, either outside weather permitting, or studio based to experiment with different settings

Look at basic lighting and framing

Download, save and edit your image(s)

Discuss changes, improvements to follow up / experiment with

 

DSLR Video Course includes:

Stills to Moving – Overview of the basic of the system
How to set up the camera for optimum movie shooting
Using prime lenses effectively and controlling focus
Accessories to enable controlled shooting and what they each do
Recording clean audio, what kit you need

Using Constant Lighting effectively

Getting the shallow focus look
FCP Workflow

Understanding movie terminology and the process for shooting scenes
Practical hands on training session using your own kit

 

 

Course Fees (subject to VAT):

4hr Course from £160 Per Person (for groups of like minded friends from 3 to 6 people)
One to One tuition also available from £50 per hour, minimum 2 hour session

 

Career Talks:

We get asked regularly to give advice to young people and people changing careers, as you can appreciate this takes time and plannig on our behalf so we offer a 1 hour career talk/direction talk for a fee of £50.

 

Our courses take place in our studio in Shepperton - we have plenty of free car parking, or we are 10 mins walk away from Shepperton Main Line Station.
