Media Wisdom has just Hired in the new DSLR

DSLR Camera Slider from independent Grip UK. Having owned and used many budget sliders for various feature films, commercials and music videos, it is apparent you get what you pay for.. Now the DSLR market is booming and with so much content being shot, everyone is looking for that feature film look, with shallow depth of field and slick smooth moves. Many of the budget sliders do the job, but the trade off is a: they can make a slight noise, when sliding. b: they can wobble after a few months use. c: weight needs to be very centralised, otherwise can be stiff to move and glide properly. d: max length is 1 meter.. Well after using the new IG Slider from Independent Grip..it was soon apparent this solves all these issues.. Silent, Smooth, will take most cameras and 5 ft long…. and to top it all they do a curved version… Wow!
The downside is you can’t own one, as it is for hire only, but at £80/day, (£30 extra for curve) it is a small price to pay for really slick smooth professional results..
