Giles Christopher - Head Photographer

 

Giles has been involved with photography and cinematography all his life, and he's not afraid to tell you an anecdote or two! I've heard most of them by now (Abi).

Having studied graphic design and photography at college in the 80's, Giles pursued a career behind the lens, originally working as a publicity photographer in the movie business.

He soon got the movie camera bug and moved up through the ranks from Assistant to Cameraman.

Giles has worked on many iconic feature films, Commercials and music videos including Memphis Belle, Aliens, Prince of Thieves, most of the Robbie Williams videos and the videos for the KLF - he can also be seen in some of them, if you look really REALLY closely!

Giles has an almost geeky knowledge of movie and stills cameras and photography. He is constantly looking at ways to keep his photography fresh, incorporating current technology to give you totally original innovative ideas for his images.

Giles has also been recently acknowledged as an industry expert on the Canon 5D Mk 2 and 7D and is in constand demand as an operator and consultant on the numerous TV Commercials and viral campaigns now being filmed on the Canon.

 

Abigail Cockroft - Shoot Producer

Abi was raised in a forest by wolves – no, wait, that was someone else.

Abi was raised in a photographic studio, as her father was, and still is, a busy advertising Photographer – not a wolf at all.

Although her parents advised her not to go into the world of advertising, off she went and had a long and successful career as a Production Manager and Producer for numerous TV commercial production companies. She found herself freelancing for some of the UK's top commercial Directors, including Graham Rose, Terence Donovan and Richard Loncraine.

Then someone told her she couldn’t move from commercial production to TV and film production – so off she went to work in the BBC Drama and Entertainment departments, and then on to do a couple of feature films – not bad for a wolf cub!

With over twenty years experience in the media industry Abi calmly oversees the entire shoot taking the stress off the client and allowing them to carry on with their business. Her experience ensures the shoots run smoothly, images are delivered on time, on budget and as per brief.

 

Although both Abi and Giles like to produce more than expected for their clients, she does have to rein Giles in sometimes as he goes off doing his fancy, geeky stuff.
